This introductory workshop is aimed at a wide variety of school staff members (teachers, support staff, admin staff, etc) as well as parents. The workshop introduces participants to what mindfulness is, how to practice it and what the benefits might be.
It is advised that participants, who find the workshop beneficial, join an 8-week mindfulness program (e.g. MBSR) after this workshop to further their knowledge and practice of mindfulness.
This workshop is run as a half-day (4 hours) event.
